Growth Strategies For Small Congregations Workshop
in Brisbane, Australia, August 20-22, 2010
ANZUUA and the ICUU present an opportunity to explore specific growth strategies for very small congregations (less than 50 people).
Teams from each attending congregation develop action plans for growth and vitality based on new congregational identity, organizational structures.
We’ll focus on mission and vision, understanding shared ministry, mission-based budgeting, and appropriate leadership and organizational structures.
Facilitators include Rev. Bob Hill and Rev. Peter Fergusson of ANZUUA, and Rev. Jill McAllister of ICUU. While this workshop is designed specifically for ANZUUA congregations, others are welcome to join, at their own expense.

An extraordinary speaker, a setting in the historic and beautiful Alsace region and the simple gifts of fellowship, fun and music are sure to enrich your lives. The theme, "Building a Religion Beyond Belief," will explore religion not as a set of beliefs but as what we love - including the role of religious community and the need to adapt to contexts.
EUU retreats are for people of all ages – we offer a full program for young people as well as adults. The retreat will be in Mittelwihr, France (near Colmar) on the eastern side of the Vosges Mountains, along the Route des Vins d'Alsace (Wine Route).
