Council Meetings Full meetings of the Council occur every two years. For the first several years of the ICUU's existence, these were small, delegate only gatherings. Since the Montserrat, Spain meeting in 2005, the meetings have been opened to non-delegates. The ICUU has had to learn how to stage open meetings and how to include programming for attendees interested in more than the business sessions. The biennial Council Meetings are fast becoming a place to explore the multi-cultural and multi-racial aspects of our Unitarian and Unitarian Universalist faith. Typically the meetings last four days and include opportunities for cross cultural worship, the business of the Council, of course, the setting of directions for the ICUU. In 2009 in Kolosvar, Transylvania (Cluj, Romania) the ICUU offered a broader spectrum of activites for non-delegates including historical tours, cultural exchange workshops and leadership skills training. Be Part of History at 2012 ICUU Gathering in the Philippines!
