How to Join ICUU Discussion Group

An email mailing list is a group of people (subscribers) who exchange messages as a group via email. On discussion lists, any subscriber can send messages that are then received by all the subscribers. This creates an email-based conversation.

ICUU-L is a discussion list for ideas related to Unitarianism, Universalism and UUism in an international context. Participants live in many countries, and they share information and opinions from their own perspectives. The list is hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and sponsored by the International Council of Unitarians and Universalists (ICUU), but list discussions are informal conversations among private individuals and don't represent the views or policies of either organization.

How to join the list:

  • The easiest way is to go to lists.uua.org/mailman/listinfo/icuu-l and enter your email address and a password in the "Subscribing" section near the bottom of the page. Choose whether you'd like to receive messages individually or in a daily batch ("digest"). Then click the Subscribe button.
  • You can also subscribe by sending an email message to icuu-l-request@lists.uua.org. Put "subscribe password digest-option" in the subject line, replacing password with a password that you choose and digest-option with "nodigest" or "digest" (or simply leave it out to receive individual messages).
  • For information about using this email list, see the extremely useful user guide at uua.org/lists/mailman.html. If you have problems subscribing to the list, send a message to Gevene Hertz, one of the list managers, at gevene@vip.cybercity.dk. We look forward to having you on the list!
